pear install 중 에러

C:\xampp\php>pear install pear/HTML_Common
PHP Fatal error:  Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is no longer supported in C:\xampp\php\pear\PEAR\Config.php on line 2095

위와 같은 에러가 나서 해당 코드를 찾아봄.

if (preg_match('/^[a-z]:/i', $prepend)) {
    $prepend = substr($prepend, 2);
} elseif ($prepend{0} != '\\') {
    $prepend = "\\$prepend";
}

 

에러로 구글링하니까 

중괄호를 대괄호로 바꾸면 된다고 함.
